Reasoning

This is a real crossroads fight for the veteran super bantamweights. Casimero is now 37, whilst Luis Nery is 31. Although he has won a comeback fight, he did loose a unanimous decision to Kyonosuke Kameda in the same location, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in October 2025. For me, Nery is one of the nearly men. I think he looks so dangerous, almost like a Tommy Hearns-type fighter, but against the likes of Naoya Inoue and Brandon Figueroa, he has come up short. Casimero himself has been a dangerous kind of fighter and at one time looked the best at bantamweight. However, those days are gone, and now I see only one winner in this fight. Could Casimero see it through to the end? Yeah, I believe he could, but I think the real danger is he’s grown a little old, past his best, and Nery is still near his best.
